The youngest MCP in the Middle East achieved his certifications by Global Knowledge/Synergy

Cairo (Egypt) - March 2, 2009 - Global Knowledge, the worldwide leader in IT Training and Business Skills, announced today that the youngest MCP in Middle East and possibly in the world, Mahmoud Khaled -9 years old- had his certifications through its MEA branch in Egypt

The Egyptian genius was able to pass the MCTS web application exams successfully to be the youngest programmer in the Middle East and one of the youngest Microsoft Certified professionals worldwide. Global Knowledge/Synergy together with Microsoft is sponsoring the Kid’s certifications.

“The smart Kid achieved the certification in less than 6 months which considered being an unprecedented record”; says Mr. Mustafa Abdel Aziz- Egypt’s Country Manager in Global KNowledge , his comprehension rate was very fast, remarkable and way ahead from his adult colleagues so we had to organize one-to-one courses specially for him, Mr Abdel Aziz added.

MCTS certification is hard and very specialized, we usually teach it as a post graduate study to Engineering and computer science graduates but we were astonished by Mahmoud’s performance to the extent that he personally developed some additional web applications that wasn’t required for the certificate completion, Mr Abdel Aziz added.

“We will continue sponsoring the smart kid”, says Mr Abdel Aziz, our slogan is ‘learning to make a difference’ and we believe that such talents will definitely make a difference, that’s why we have designed a certifications plan for Mahmoud to achieve MCTS certification in new technologies like; .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications & SQL Server 2005, and we will continue sponsoring his path together with Microsoft Egypt to achieve more records and also to fulfill his wish by becoming a famous Software Scientist, Mr Abdel Aziz Added.

The smart kid was featured in CNN, Al-Jazeera and in many popular TV shows in Egypt as one of the smartest kids in the world.
