Global Knowledge welcomes new Cisco CCNA Concentrations
Global Knowledge, Europe's leading independent training company,
is welcoming the expansion of the Cisco Certified Network Associate
(CCNA) certification program which was announced today at Cisco
Live. The introduction of three new entry level technology–based
CCNA concentrations which are designed to build upon Cisco’s most
popular career certification CCNA are seen as an ideal stepping
stone for those delegates not able to make the full commitment that
a professional level certification requires.
While Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) remains the
certification of choice for individuals who want to demonstrate
their solid foundation in core routing and switching skills, the
new CCNA Wireless, CCNA Voice and CCNA Security certifications
build on the core CCNA skills and provide a clear path for
individuals wishing to specialize in a job role within the
wireless, security or voice technologies.
These new CCNA concentrations will combine well with Global
Knowledge’s market leading CCNA Boot camp and Blended CCNA Program
which are both innovative and comprehensive in their approach.
These programs allow delegates to not only experience the benefits
of attending Instructor Led Training but also providing them with
the tools required to help them continue their preparation for the
exam outside of the classroom. Self- paced E-Learning, Remote Lab
access, assessment tests, podcasts, virtual classes and Instructor
Tutorials have been incorporated into these products to provide a
complete learning experience.
Recent market surveys have indicated that more than two-thirds
of companies expect dedicated roles in security, voice or wireless
within their organizations within the next 5 years. When asked
about this latest addition to the Cisco portfolio, Ali Hawksworth,
Global Knowledge’s European Cisco Business Development Director
said “The new CCNA Concentration courses and qualifications are
exactly what organizations are looking for to get maximum value
from their investment in Cisco. It ensures that IT professionals
who attend and pass the exam have an excellent grounding in the
Security-, Wireless- or Voice-technology they need, providing them
with the skills to manage their networks, and get the very best
from Cisco-based technologies today. We believe that customers will
respond positively to this introduction."
Global Knowledge will be scheduling Implementing Cisco IOS
Network Security (IINS) and Implementing Cisco IOS Unified
Communications (IIUC) courses from 30th June, with Implementing
Unified Wireless Networking Essentials (IUWNE) becoming available
at the end of July.
