Global Knowledge named 2016 Cisco Innovative Learning Partner of the Year

Cisco recognises innovative Cloud Practice Accelerator business model

Wokingham (United Kingdom), 17th March 2016 - Global Knowledge, worldwide leader in IT and business training, is proud to announce that Global Knowledge EMEA has been named as the recipient of the Cisco Innovative Learning Partner of the Year Award. Cisco unveiled the winners of its 2016 Learning Partner Awards at its Global Learning Partner Conference in San Diego, United States.

Cisco Learning Partner Awards recognise exemplary Learning Partners and Business Learning Partners who demonstrate best-in-class channel business practices and serve as a model to the industry. Areas of consideration include collaboration with Cisco and other Learning Partners, innovation in developing new programs to enhance the learner experience; acceleration of growth; and top quality, recognizing an overall commitment to the highest quality training and enablement.

Cisco Systems especially recognised the innovative business model that Global Knowledge's Cloud Practice Accelerator (CPA) brings to the changing customer landscape addressing the challenges of organisations needing to evolve the business operating models. Cloud Practice Accelerator assesses an organisation's cloud practice capabilities and provides practical tools to help build a successful cloud reseller practice.

"This award seeks to recognize the learning partner that has best integrated innovation into the core of their business, and further still, that has delivered a constant flow of innovation in their relationship with Cisco, our partners and customers", said Toon van Geet, Global Manager Direct Learning Partners at Cisco. "Global Knowledge has developed a new tool through which cloud partners can assess and measure their capability and effectiveness at selling cloud solutions. This tool focuses on partners at different stages of cloud adoption and caters from relative newcomers to experienced cloud partners and seeks to attract mature cloud providers who currently do not sell Cisco."

"We are proud that Cisco has once again acknowledged our commitment to providing innovative learning solutions to their partner channels and customers," said Richard Pryor-Jones, President EMEA at Global Knowledge. "We are excited that Cisco recognises the added value that the Cloud Practice Accelerator programme brings to Cisco's channels and customers to stay competitive within the cloud marketplace."
